Are there anyways of advertising my web page for free?i just want to get my domain name out on the internet.?

i recently purchased a shopping web page,in hopes of making a little extra money.when purchasing the page i was not made aware of the advertising money i would have to spend to make it successful.i spent all my extra money on the page and the company i went through made it sound so good but mentioned nothing about me having to spend alot of money on adverting until it was to late to change my mind,now im stuck with a web page that does nothing but it could if i could find a way to get visitors .i have no more money .my web page is a shopping page that i get a small% of the sales if people go through it buying stuff from amazon,target or toys-r-us. idont want to break any internet protacol,but just want to find ways to get my domain name out on the web in hope of getting vistors.any ideas?anything,i would be very grateful for any help.thank you

Reply:You could try writing short articles on something related to your website and submitting them to article directories. Goarticles is a good one and so is ezine articles but there are many more. Just write your article and include a link to your web site, you could also try classified ads such as UsFreeads and also try social bookmarking your site. Also look to see if there are any forums on the subjects that you sell e.g books or toys and post on these with a link to your website in your sig. All these ways are free.
