If you can buy a pack of Marlboro's for $5.50
but they have a special
Buy one get one free
but
It costs $6.50
How can it be "Buy one get one free"?
False advertising is:
“an advertisement, other than labeling, which is
misleading in a material respect.”
What do you think?
Does marlboro use false advertising?
I totally see where you are coming from on this..and have asked them about it before! They claim it is because they are selling either A: the standard ONE pack to you for $5.50 or B: the promotional pack to you for $6:50 which will include a 2nd pack for free! ....I know it doesn't exactly make sense!:(

Reply:I would rather be more concerned about how to quit smoking instead of getting the 'deal'. In both cases, either true advertising or false advertising, its bad. That's my humble opinion.
