How does the Media –advertising, television, movies, and magazines-impact a teenager?
the media is all about weight - the thinner the better which isn't true and they put across the wrong messages about EVERYTHING!!!

Reply:the medias raison d'etre or reason for being is to make money. what sells? sex, promiscuity, anything that's really base. just check out the tv, most movies and the music. gangsta rap? check the lyrics. how does it affect anyone who hears that stuff constantly. it brainwashes them. repetition, over and over, sex is good, question authority, rebel. etc. etc.etc. they don't talk about abortion, teen pregnancy, aids, all byproducts of sex without love. think about it please.
