What makes a good advertising campaign?
A good advertising campaign should include a few things, but not all.


1. Any sort of personal connection to the public or sympathy


2. Advisement from a profession that is well suited to endorse the product or concept.


3. Logical reasoning for the product or concept they are trying to win you over with.





These three are the basic building blocks for advertisement.





For the first, you can refer to the commercial's for christian help drives for 3rd world countries. They'll show you poor children in horrible conditions, trying to envoke some sort of feeling in you.





The 2nd, think about the Wheaties box, with the chosen athlete on the box. If you eat wheaties, you'll be JUST like them! Right?





And for the last one, consider cigarettes, many smoking comercials throw some kind of statistic at you, which you obviously think "well, if THAT many people died.....OBVIOUSLY I shouldn't be smoking!"

Reply:an advertising campaign is made gud by the good language and backgroun the jingles and music, sumthing which catches the eye sumthing diffrent. celebs or commoners dont matter the way it is presented matters
Reply:A good slogan, but one that refers to the manufacturer! - for example, "vursprung durch technic" is a good slogan - but I can never remember who it is for!





"Guinness - good things come to those who wait" is memorable, and ties in beautifully with the TV adverts (which I think are excellent - and I hate Guinness!)





I also like good play on word slogan - I always remember there was an electrical company, "Rumbelows - We save you money and serve you right"





My children (8 and 14) like "Don't tap it, whack it" - and "it's not Terry's - it's mine!"





(I think the shredded wheat advert is stupid! They make a point of saying that shredded wheat only contains wheat, then follow it with 'now contains honey'!!!!!
