How do I stop advertising calls on my home phone?

No one at my house answers the phone because every time we do its the advertising calls!

How do I stop advertising calls on my home phone?
Our state (Missouri) has a no call list thru the state's attorney general's office. You call an 800 number from your home phone and it registers that home number as a no call number. You may still legally get call from entities you already do business with, such as the phone company, cable or satellite company.
