What becomes of the advertising dollors lost by Don Imus?

Since the shows had attracted hundreds of millions of dollars of advertising dollars, what will the fat cat C.E.O.'s of some of the biggest corporations decide to do with the extra money?

Will On line companies attract those dollars? Yahoo?

Or, will they decide to give the money to everyone...you and me?

Given that most advertisements are a waste of money (the only one that is a little entertaining is the duck for Aflac)...why don't they just give that money away to everyone...stockholders and the people they decide to let go by downsizing?

Since the Imus flap has been compounded by the governor's auto accident, maybe they should use the extra money to educate the public on how to drive motor vehicles?

Any ideas on the subject?

heads are rollin, baby!!
Reply:Hundreds of millions? No

At most it was estimated at $15 million.

Probably the biggest advertiser spent less then $1 million on his show. $1 in a large company is not much. Since the money is already for advertising they will just advertise on another radio show with similar demographics. Most likely NO online advertisers will benefit.

Will they decide to give the money to you and me? Are you a share holder? If so it may increase your share price by .01
