Does an airline's advertising, influence your choice of airline?

Factor out the airlines price with advertising and tell us and then tell us if price affects you as well (so 2 answers)

Does an airline's advertising, influence your choice of airline?
Personal expirence and the advice of my firend who is a flight attendant influence my choice. For example, I didn't care for United when I flew them to Hawaii, so in the future I'd rather not fly with them. Same with Southwest, they may be less expensive than other airlines, but they gave me a hard time when I wanted to preboard with my service dog, something that I'm allowed to do according to the air carrier's act.

When I can I fly my firend's airline because I'm his registered guest and therefore fly for free. If his airline doesn't service where I want to go then I find an airline that does that he recommends and that I like.

Some airlines I like because I've had good expierences on them are Alaska, Frontier, US Air, and a long time ago Northwest.
Reply:Not at all. Price is the biggest factor, then my past experience with the airline. Like Delta, I will never fly with them again because they have lost mine or my husband's luggage at least once on every trip we've taken with them.
Reply:No. It is the price that affects my decision. Unless it is American Airlines. Will never fly with them again not even for free.
Reply:no.i got with the airline i think has good service
Reply:Not really, although there are some local airlines like allegiant air that put out commercials with decent prices. For example you can fly from Peoria, IL to Tampa Bay for like under $100.
